Shane MacPherson

Shane MacPherson is an accomplished professional in the field of animation and motion capture, currently serving as the Managing Producer of Mocap at Gearbox Entertainment since February 2020, overseeing the internal Mocap Stage and staff. Previously, at Visual Concepts from February 2013 to August 2019, Shane held the role of Animation Director - Cinematics, where responsibilities included hiring and managing animation teams to ensure quality production. Before that, Shane was the Lead Animator/Associate Producer at THQ, leading the transition of cinematic creation from outsourcing to internal resources. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Visual Effects Artist at Lightstorm Entertainment, Lead Animator/Motion Capture Artist at Hydrogen Whiskey Studios, and Maya Generalist/Compositor at Ocean Park Pictures. Shane holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Animation from Full Sail University.
