Michael Kizer

Michael Kizer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creditor-side restructuring advisory roles for distressed companies across the oil and gas, agriculture technology, mining, industrials, and power sectors. Since March 2015, Kizer has served as Managing Director at GLC Advisors & Co., LLC, focusing on leveraging finance advisory roles for mid to late-stage start-ups in the real estate, renewable power, and mobile gaming sectors. Currently, Kizer serves on the board of Talus Renewables and has been an advisor at GearLaunch since January 2014. Previously, Kizer held the position of Vice President at Rothschild from July 2004 to July 2011, contributing to the completion of over $15 billion in mergers and acquisitions and project financing across 40 countries. Kizer holds an MBA from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BSBA in International Business and Finance from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
