GECSA has more 25 years of experience in the steel-making plants, ferro-alloys plants, foundry, electrolytic plants and more recently in electrical machinery manufacturers, automation, control systems and electrical engineering.

GECSA operates principally in three business areas:
-	High Current Conductors.
-	Turn Key Projects in Automation and process control, management and Industrial maintenance.
-	Electrical Engineering Projects.

The company has a high qualified staff for the design and manufacture of electrical and automation systems, with our own technology and facilities.

GECSA Work-shops and offices, with a total cover surface of 2.400 m2, are located in the north of Spain, in Larrondo-Loiu, 7 km from Bilbao downtown, less than 1 km from its International airport and next to train station.

GECSA is divided in 3 differents areas: Conductors for high current intensities, automation and electrical Engineering.

CONDUCTORS:
-	Busbars: EAF and LF, eletrolysis, ferro-alloys and graphite manufaturers
-	Current conducting arms
-	Copper contact plates and jaws
-	Water cooled cables
-	Flexible connections
-	Induction Coils
-	Tailor components for electrical machines

AUTOMATION
-	Basic and detail engineering
-	Systems integration (PLC´s, PC´s, Regulation and Control, Industrial Software)
-	Optimization and maintenance of industrial furnaces based on real-time data collection systems (Productivity reports, Anomalies reports and corrective actions, and Android application to view interesting data)
-	Integration and Implementation of Industry 4.0 systems: MES (Manufacturing Execution System), CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), Automation Change Management System and Physical Ladle Tracking System
-	Development of customized industrial applications
-	Stat-up

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
-	Calculation, supply and electrical installations.
-	Switches of medium and high voltage.
-	Reactive power compensating
-	Reactor and surge arresters
