Iris Chu

Iris Chu has a diverse work experience in various design-related roles. Iris is currently working as a 3D Industrial Designer at Geek+, a global leader in robotic solutions for logistics. In this role, they help develop Autonomous Mobile-Robot (AMR) solutions for warehouses and supply chain management.

Prior to that, Iris worked as a Freelance Designer and Photographer at Heyiris Design. During their time there from 2019 to 2021, they worked on a range of projects for local clients, including branding, web design, photography, and packaging design.

From 2016 to 2019, Iris worked at Superface Company Limited, initially as a Visual Designer and later as a Project Manager. Iris was involved in various aspects of the company's design and development processes, including retail store design, graphic design, web design, and product concept shooting.

Before that, Iris gained experience as a Junior Retail Designer at M PLUS DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE CONSULTANCY (HONG KONG) LIMITED. In this role, they contributed to retail store concept design and development, along with creating presentation materials and sketches.

Iris also had internships at Build Republic Limited and Alchemist Creations Co. Ltd, where they gained valuable experience in areas such as packaging layout, 3D rendering, product design, and promotional materials.

Iris Chu pursued their education in Industrial and Product Design. From 2009 to 2012, they attended Hong Kong Design Institute and obtained a Higher Diploma in the field. Afterward, from 2012 to 2015, Iris Chu studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Product Design.
