Derek Basham has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. Derek started their career as a software engineer at RJO Enterprises and was later a Senior Software Engineer at Electronic Warfare Associates. At EWA, they also worked as a TPS Engineer & Site Manager. Derek then spent six years as a Senior Software Engineer at Westech International before being appointed as a Sr. Software Engineer at GaN Corporation in 2013. At GaN, they led the software design for the US Army's OTC Intelligence Modeling and Simulation for Evaluation Simulation and Scoring subsystem. Throughout their career, Basham has developed applications using Visual C++ and SQL Server and has supported OTC at various events.
Derek Basham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Technology with a focus on Systems Engineering from Colorado State University Pueblo between 1988 and 1991.
