Ben Wei

Ben Wei is a highly accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in system integration, vehicle engineering, and active safety. Currently serving as Sr. Chief Engineer/Distinguished Engineer at GEELY since January 2024, Ben previously held the position of Distinguished Engineer at NIO from 2019 to 2023, where significant advancements in ADAS functions were achieved. Ben's career also includes critical roles at GEELY, where the discipline "Vehicle Integration of Control Systems" was founded, and at the Chinese Automotive Technology and Research Center, where technical support for safety features was provided. Leadership at Bethel Electronic Control Systems Inc. and ZF Group further exemplifies Ben’s expertise in product development, systems engineering, and automotive safety technologies. Ben holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from the University of Michigan and master's degrees from both the University of Oklahoma and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, complemented by a bachelor's degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
