James Wang

James Wang is currently the Partner of Geely Capital at 吉利控股集团, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, James worked as an Investor at Australian Capital Equity from October 2019 to July 2021 and served as the Investment & Financing Head at 商米 from November 2017 to July 2019, overseeing equity and debt financing along with strategic investments. Earlier experience includes positions as Investment Director at Baidu Capital, focusing on internet and AI investments, and as an Investment Director at China Minsheng Investment. James also held an Associate role at Shanghai International Group and began the career as an Analyst at The Hina Group. Educational qualifications include dual Bachelor's degrees in Statistics and Economics from Peking University, an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and ongoing studies towards a Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania.
