Matthew Wright, CPA, is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the accounting field. Currently a Shareholder at Geffen Mesher since November 2014, Matthew plays a pivotal role in the firm's audit and assurance department. Previously serving as a Senior Manager, Matthew is known for tackling client challenges with a straightforward approach. Matthew's influential roles also include Treasurer and Steering Committee member for the Design-Build Institute of America - Oregon Chapter, and Principal at Spectrum CPA Group LLP, where Matthew focused on audit, accounting, and tax engagement excellence. In addition to a successful career in various firms, Matthew served as Board President and Finance Committee Chair for the Youth Progress Association, contributing significantly to the non-profit's mission supporting at-risk youth. Matthew's professional journey began at Tabor Accounting Group and includes substantial leadership experience gained at Delap LLP as an Audit Principal. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from the University of Portland.
