Aidan Carson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and service mesh solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at GEICO, Aidan is focused on building a managed service mesh solution utilizing Istio in a multi-tenant, zero trust environment. Previously, Aidan worked at solo.io, where significant contributions included leading projects on next-generation API Gateway and Service Mesh solutions powered by Ambient Istio. Aidan's experience also includes roles at F5 as a Software Engineer III and II, where critical features for NGINX Service Mesh were developed. Aidan's career began at NGINX, Inc., contributing to the Microservices Reference Architecture project and integrating NGINX with Istio. Aidan holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
