David A. McDaniel

David A. McDaniel is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk management professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Director of Cybersecurity at GEICO, David leads the Data Protection and Privacy Engineering program and reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Previously, David held the position of VP/Director of Risk Management at OneMain Financial, where responsibilities included implementing the Enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platform and managing the RSA Archer eGRC platform. David's expertise also encompasses program management in cybersecurity for organizations like Constellation West and Missing Link Security, as well as technical program management for the Department of Justice's MEGA3 contract. With a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking from Strayer University, David brings a strong educational background to complement extensive industry experience.
