Howard Calvert is an experienced professional in both the education and non-profit sectors. As the CEO of The Howard Calvert Foundation for Hunger since May 2015, Howard has dedicated efforts to alleviate hunger on an individual level. Recently, Howard served as a Housing Counselor at NACA from March to May 2025, and has also worked as a Claims Specialist at GEICO since May 2025. Prior to these roles, Howard acted and served as a Substitute Teacher in Spring ISD from November 2022 to March 2025. Howard holds a degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Houston-Downtown, earned between 1999 and 2001.
