Burroughs has over 25 years of dedicated law enforcement experience, including a role as a retired executive level commander, and has extensive expertise in investigative work, operational planning, and policy development. Educated in executive leadership and command from prestigious institutions, Burroughs serves as a public speaker and instructor, sharing knowledge on tactical operations with law enforcement professionals. Previously, Burroughs held significant roles, including President of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Gang Investigators Network and Commander in Special Operations at the Charles County Sheriff's Office.
