Matt Van Winkle is an experienced engineering and operations leader with a background in management, operations, and process improvement. They began their career at Texas Tech University, where they held various IT positions from 1993 to 2000, eventually serving as a systems administrator and assistant manager. Following that, they have contributed to notable companies, including Salesforce, Rackspace, and Datto, Inc., in leadership roles focusing on cloud services and engineering. Currently, Matt serves as a Senior Manager of Engineering at GEICO, leveraging their passion for servant leadership and open-source technologies.
