Michael Githens

Michael Githens is the Managing Attorney for GEICO Insurance Companies in Oklahoma and Kansas, bringing extensive experience in insurance defense and trial law. With a background as a Senior Trial Attorney at Allstate and an Associate Attorney at Chris Harper & Associates, Githens has handled over a thousand cases and has experience in a variety of legal areas including bankruptcy and family law. Githens previously worked as a Legal Intern for the Oklahoma County District Attorney, and served as a Claims and Government Affairs Representative at Farmers Insurance Group, where they also engaged in legislative advocacy. Githens holds a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cameron University.
