Sharon Smith-Geter

Sharon Smith-Geter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations training and development, currently serving as the Director of Operations Training and Director of Learning and Development Diversity Equity Inclusion at GEICO since October 2003. Previously, Sharon was the Lean Six Sigma Training and Deployment Manager at GEICO, and served as a Homeowners Insurance Service Manager at the GEICO Insurance Agency. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Capital One, Quality Manager at Capital One Financial Services, and Store Manager at Wal-Mart. Educational credentials include an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of Mary Washington and a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
