Wendy Thorne's work experience includes various roles in the sales and customer service field. Wendy began their career in 1992 at Sutters Mill Specialties, where they worked as an ASI Coordinator, assisting salespeople with product research, quoting, and purchasing. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at Special Recognition, managing various incentive and catalog programs and supporting sales representatives. Wendy then joined Corporate Edge as a Sales Assistant/Customer Service representative, managing online programs and suggesting products for Verizon Wireless, Sharp Electronics, Kyocera, and Copystar. In 2009, they moved to InnerWorkings as a Sales Assistant/Production Manager, where they continued to manage online programs, maintain inventories, and suggest new items for clients such as Verizon, Sharp Electronics, Hertz Rent-A-Car, and Hertz Equipment Rental. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at ePromos as an Associate Program Manager, responsible for managing online store functionality, design, and marketing for various eCommerce sales programs, as well as handling customer service inquiries. Currently, they are employed at Geiger as an Enterprise Relationship Manager, with responsibilities in maintaining and building relationships with enterprise-level clients.
Wendy Thorne began their education journey at North Hunterdon High School, where they attended from 1989 to 1991. After completing their high school education, Wendy went on to enroll at Raritan Valley Community College, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. Wendy then furthered their education by attending Mesa Community College from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree.
