Hao Chen is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and consulting sectors. Currently serving as a Fellow Actuary at Geisinger since May 2022, Hao previously held the position of Senior Actuary at Highmark Inc. from March 2017 to March 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Consulting Actuary at Aon Hewitt from December 2007 to January 2017, as well as an internship at Aon Hewitt in mid-2007. Earlier experiences include an internship at Merrill Lynch focused on 401(k) plans and volunteer work as a part-time math tutor at Leon Taylor Junior High School. Hao began a career in early 2005 as a grocery bagger at HEB. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained between 2005 and 2007.
