Mark Olaf

Mark Olaf serves as the Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine Education and Regional Associate Dean at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine since June 2017, along with holding the position of Regional Assistant Dean. Mark has also been an Associate Emergency Medicine Physician at Geisinger Health System since January 2015, and previously worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Osler Drive Emergency Physician Associates from July 2013 to December 2014. Prior experience includes serving as a Lieutenant at Mahoning Township Fire Company from January 2011 to June 2013 and completing a residency in Emergency Medicine at Geisinger Health System from July 2010 to June 2013. Mark was involved as a co-editor and co-director for a medical skills instructional video at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, obtained in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University, completed in 2006.
