Max Cotler

Max Cotler serves as the Chief Operating Officer and President of GelMEDIX since April 2020, leading an early-stage company focused on ocular cell therapy aimed at restoring vision. Prior to this, Max held various roles at GelMEDIX, including Senior Manager of Corporate Development and Operations, where responsibilities included analyzing the ocular drug delivery landscape and securing a significant research contract with the US Department of Defense. Max is also a Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to significant research and publications in drug delivery systems. Additional roles include consulting and strategizing for biotech companies, and Max holds a Ph.D. in Medical Engineering from MIT.
