Dennis Lang

Dennis Lang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dennis currently serves as the Chief Business Officer at GelSight, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Products at GelSight from December 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining GelSight, Dennis worked at Magic Leap from 2017 to 2021. Dennis'sroles at Magic Leap include General Manager, Manufacturing & Industries (NA), where they spearheaded market strategies and built partnerships in the manufacturing vertical. Dennis also served as the Sr. Director Enterprise Business Development & ISV Partnerships, focusing on healthcare and enterprise verticals, and created an ISV Partnership strategy. Additionally, they led the Technical Product Marketing team and initiated partner relationships in various areas such as research, hardware, software, and engineering services.

Prior to Magic Leap, Dennis worked at Maxim Integrated in 2016-2017 as the Principal Account Executive, where they generated sales opportunities and secured a major design win with Microsoft Azure hardware team.

Dennis also owned Goldfish 3D Printing in 2015-2016, building a successful 3D printing business and achieving significant sales.

Dennis had a long tenure at Fairchild Semiconductor from 2000 to 2015, holding various positions including Global Account Manager, Engineering Manager, Applications Engineering Manager, Staff Engineer, Senior Applications Engineer, and Design Engineer. In these roles, they performed market research, developed business plans, managed customer relationships, and led engineering projects related to ICs and package solutions.

Additionally, Dennis owned Goldfish Marketing, LLC as a side hustle from 2014 to 2015, focusing on PPC affiliate marketing campaigns and implementing tracking and analytics tools.

Dennis Lang obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their degree, Dennis has also obtained two certifications. In April 2007, they earned a Design For Six Sigma Blackbelt certification from SBTI. Furthermore, in July 2018, they obtained an Amateur Radio License- General Class from the Federal Communications Commission.
