Jay Anseth

Jay Anseth has a strong background in research and engineering, with substantial experience in the field of chemical processes and materials. Jay is currently serving as the Vice President of Chemical Processes at GelSight since February 2020. Prior to that, Jay worked at E Ink Corporation, where they held various roles over a span of 14 years, including Director of Research, Staff Research Engineer/Senior Manager, Senior Research Engineer, and Advanced Research Engineer. Jay also conducted research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from October 2004 to April 2006. Jay's educational background includes a position as a Graduate Research Associate at Stanford University from September 1999 to August 2004.

Jay Anseth completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, from 1995 to 1999. Jay then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering at Stanford University, from 1999 to 2004.
