Bobby Cheng

Bobby (Yiqing) Cheng is a Senior Engineer at Geltor Inc., specializing in fermentation, downstream processing, and food microbiology. With over eight years of industrial and academic experience, they have a strong focus on innovation and commercialization within the food industry. Cheng co-invented a U.S. patent and holds a Master’s Degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they achieved a GPA of 3.93. Prior roles include R&D Technologist positions at Kerry and Silver Spring Foods, along with a Graduate Student Researcher role at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where they investigated food safety.
