David Hoang

David Hoang has a diverse work experience in roles related to sales operations and business systems. David currently serves as the Director of Business Systems at Gem since June 2020. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales Operations at Sonder Inc. from March 2019 to March 2020, where they led a team of 11 and implemented various improvements to the sales process and incentive commission plan. Before that, David held the position of Director of Sales Operations at Checkr from June 2016 to February 2019, where they played a key role in building the sales operations team and implementing various technology tools and systems to enhance the sales process. David also worked as the Senior Manager Sales Operations at Xamarin from June 2014 to May 2016, where they oversaw a team and implemented a quota setting and distribution model. David began their career at Aruba Networks as an Analyst, Sales Operations from July 2007 to May 2013, where they developed back-office workflows and implemented compensation plans. Prior to that, they worked at ExcelaCom as a Senior Technology Consultant and Technology Analyst, handling QA projects and contributing to strategic marketing efforts.

David Hoang attended UC San Diego from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Management Science.
