Helen Lu

Helen Lu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Helen is currently working as a Software Engineer at Gem since July 2021. Prior to that, they were employed by Dropbox as a Software Engineer from November 2015 to May 2021. Helen also worked at A9.com as a Software Development Engineer from April 2013 to November 2015, where they focused on search auto-completion and spelling correction. Before that, they were a Software Development Intern at A9.com from June 2012 to September 2012, where they worked on auto-completion. In addition, Helen has experience as a Software Engineer at Volkswagen of America, Inc from July 2009 to September 2011, where they built prototypes of future interaction concepts in the Human Machine Interface team. Helen also served as an Engineering Intern at Boeing Satellite Systems from June 2007 to August 2008, and as an Intern - Mechanical Engineer at Schlumberger from June 2006 to September 2006.

Helen Lu has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and computer science. Helen earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University from 2004 to 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, Helen pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 2008 to 2009. Further enhancing their expertise, they also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2011 to 2013.
