Yi-An Lai

Yi-An Lai's work experience begins in 2010 as a Software Engineering Intern at IBM. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica. In 2014, Yi-An served as a Software Engineer Intern at MuleSoft Inc. They continued their career at MuleSoft, holding positions such as Associate Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Senior Member Of Technical Staff, and Lead Member Of Technical Staff. Throughout their roles at MuleSoft, they contributed to the development of the Runtime Fabric and agent management for Kubernetes environments. In 2022, Yi-An joined Gem as a Software Engineer.

Yi-An Lai earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Taiwan University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles, from 2013 to 2015.
