GEM is an award winning construction company based in York, delivering quality developments and prestigious regeneration projects up to a value of £10 million across Yorkshire.

We specialise in the sensitive restoration and refurbishment of listed and ancient buildings and monuments. With 20 years’ experience, we have a catalogue of high quality projects and an impressive client list. We have an in-house team of professionals and we pride ourselves in providing a first class service and the level of care and attention to detail that these kind of projects demand. We often engage in syndicated residential construction and real estate development projects and are able to deliver the “difficult” construction aspect seamlessly.

Our sister company, Lanstone Conservation, specialises in the maintenance, restoration and conservation of ecclesiastical, historic and ancient buildings and monuments.

With extensive expertise in stonemasonry and historic building restoration, Lanstone regularly works on a wide variety of large and small historical and listed building properties within the public and private sectors.
