R&D IoT Engineer at GemOne

Anton Depoot has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and innovation. Anton started their career at ISAE-SUPAERO, where they participated in a research and innovation project focused on remote detection of metallic objects. This project led to their team winning the first place in the IMAV 2017 'Treasure Hunt Challenge'.

Afterwards, Anton joined Sterblue, where they worked on an innovation and entrepreneurship project.

Anton then moved on to Flanders Make, where they completed their master thesis and also undertook an internship focused on UAV localization.

Currently, Anton is employed at GemOne as an R&D IoT Engineer, starting in October 2019.

Anton Depoot completed their Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 2013 to 2016. Anton then pursued a Master's degree in Aerospace engineering/Aeronautical engineering at ISAE-SUPAERO from 2016 to 2018. Following that, they continued their education at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and obtained another Master's degree in Aerospace engineering/Aeronautical engineering in 2019.
