Tom Allen

Tom Allen has a diverse work experience in the field of safety and environmental health. Tom is currently working as a Safety Manager at GEM Technologies, Inc. since May 2019. Prior to this, they held the role of Environment, Health and Safety Manager at URS | CH2M Oak Ridge (UCOR) from October 2015 to April 2019. Tom also worked at AECOM from September 2003 to October 2015 as an Environmental Safety and Health Manager. Before that, they served as the Environmental Safety and Health Manager at Safety and Ecology Corporation from June 2000 to September 2003. Tom's earlier experience includes working as a Project Safety Manager at Premier Roofing Corporation from June 1996 to June 2000, and as a Safety Officer at Solutions To Environmental Problems, Inc. from April 1994 to June 1996. Tom started their career as a Safety Officer at The Environmental Group from February 1992 to April 1994. Tom's extensive work experience also includes serving as a Bioenvironmental Engineering Technician in the United States Air Force from February 1986 to February 1990. In this role, they performed various tasks related to industrial hygiene, surveillance of water facilities, assessment of radiation sources, and sampling of adjacent stream locations.

Tom Allen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Tusculum University, completing their education between the years 2000 and 2001.
