Diego Serrano

Diego Serrano is an experienced professional in telecommunications and bid management, currently serving as the Senior Bid Manager for Thales Digital Identity and Security since November 2018. Previously, Diego held the position of Bid Manager in the Government Programs Business Unit at Gemalto from June 2015 to November 2018, where responsibilities included managing large tenders and overseeing various aspects of smart card programs. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Netsize involved multiple roles including OP Director for Spain & Portugal, where Diego led a team focused on mobile technology and managed relationships with mobile operators and regulators. Earlier experience includes positions as Network Manager at Telecom Italia Sparkle and Tiscali International Network, overseeing extensive fiber networks and high-value projects. Diego holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Alcalá.
