Richard Smith

Richard Smith is currently the Red Team Lead at Thales Cyber and Digital, focusing on adversary emulation and purple teaming. Previously, they held various roles at KPMG Australia, including Consultant and Manager, where they specialized in penetration testing and red teaming. Richard also worked as a Senior Security Consultant at Tesserent and is now a Principal Security Consultant at Tesserent's Cyber Solutions by Thales. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Griffith University and have completed foundational studies in Chartered Accounting at Deakin University.
