John Stokes

John Stokes, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Investments and Designated Person for Investment Management at GemCap since January 2022. Previously, Stokes held prominent roles at KB Associates as Head of Investments and Senior Consultant from October 2018 to January 2022, and as Portfolio Manager at Crossroads Capital Management Limited from July 2015 to September 2018, where a focus was on overseeing Alternative Investment Funds. Early career experience includes positions as Equity Research Analyst at Davy, Banking Specialist at the National Treasury Management Agency, and Equity Manager at PI Investment Management, where management of a global equity portfolio exceeding US$1bn was achieved. Stokes' analytical capabilities were developed as an Equity Analyst at IG International Management and as a Performance and Risk Analyst at Bank of Ireland Asset Management. Stokes earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin from 1995 to 1999.
