Mark Röell

Mark Röell is currently serving as the Burgemeester (Mayor) of Gemeente Baarn since 2011, overseeing portfolios related to public order, legal matters, and public relations. Prior to this role, they held various positions such as Gemeenteraadslid VVD and Wethouder in Gemeente Woudrichem, and Raadsgriffier in Gemeente Aalburg. Mark also gained experience in the private sector as a New Business Development Consultant at KPN. They completed VWO at Rotterdamse Avondschool between 1986 and 1988 and attended Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam from 1988 to 1990, though they did not finish their degree.
