David de Jong has dedicated their career to education and politics, serving for many years as a teacher, primarily in practical language education at vmbo schools. They have held various leadership roles in education, including as an interim conrector at Almere College and as director at NoorderBasis. David was a city council member in Groningen from 1994 to 2009 and served as a wethouder in Midden-Groningen from 2021 to 2022.
