Wietske Veltman

Wietske Veltman is a prominent figure in Dutch politics, currently serving as the Wethouder of Leiden, overseeing Economy, Knowledge, Europe, Health, and Sports. Since 2015, they have been the owner of their own consultancy, and they have held various significant roles, including Lijsttrekker for D66 Leiden ahead of the 2026 elections and vice-chair of the national D66 board with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
