Pascal de Ruiter is a fourth-year Water Management student at Hogeschool Rotterdam, specializing in climate change and adaptation in urban areas. They previously served as an intern at EMI op Zuid, where they developed a 'Street climate scorecard' to evaluate street preparedness for future climate challenges. Pascal is currently an integral advisor on climate adaptation and water at Gemeente Steenbergen. Additionally, they are conducting research on the drinking water situation in Cape Verde as part of their final internship with Universidade de Cabo Verde. Previously, Pascal supported first- and second-year Water Management students as a peer coach at Hogeschool Rotterdam.
