Armando Diaz

Armando Diaz is a highly experienced professional in the mining and gemstones sector, currently serving as Managing Director at DIGIT MINING SAC since October 2018 and concurrently as the Director of dIGIt mININg. Diaz has held significant roles such as Project Manager and Country Project Head at Fura Gems and Gemfields Plc, overseeing exploration, acquisitions, and mine operations. With a comprehensive educational background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from the National University of Engineering and an MBA from Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, Diaz further enhanced professional skills through project management studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to these roles, Diaz contributed to Hindustan Zinc Ltd as Operation Manager Mining, achieving substantial production targets.
