Dan Bailey

Dan Bailey is a Senior Principal Security Engineer at Gemini, leveraging over 25 years of experience in application security architecture, identity and access management, and cryptography. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ruhr University Bochum, where their dissertation focused on improving user authentication through knowledge-based authenticators. Dan has previously held roles as Chief Security Architect at Carbonite, Senior Technical Architect at Kronos, and Applied Cryptographer at RSA/EMC, earning more than 50 patents throughout their career. They are also an active board member of ISSA New England and a volunteer Case Lead at the Clinic to End Tech Abuse.
