Deepu Thomas

Deepu Thomas is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in designing and building scalable backend trading systems at Gemini since December 2021, serving as a Staff Software Engineer. Prior to this role, Deepu held positions at Bank of America from October 2018 to December 2021 as an AVP-Data Protection Lead, focusing on data protection efforts in data lakes, specifically using Hadoop, and as an AVP in Fixed Income Currency and Commodities trading platform development. Additional experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics America, contributing to an application for device management on Android, as well as previous roles at ARRIS, Sasken, and Verizon, specializing in Android development and application creation. Deepu holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
