Soeren Roerden

Soeren Roerden is a Senior Software Engineer at Gemini since December 2020, focusing on credit card and trading systems. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Developer at S&P Capital IQ from October 2015 to July 2019, and as a Software Engineer at Tapad from October 2013 to May 2015, as well as at Patch.com from July 2011 to October 2013. Soeren has developed, operationalized, and maintained various systems using Scala and Akka, mentored colleagues during the migration of a code base from Ruby on Rails to Scala, and improved project performance by addressing memory leaks through detailed profiling. Soeren obtained a Master's degree in Physics from The University of Freiburg between 2006 and 2011.
