Mateusz Heba

Mateusz Heba has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Senior Data Scientist at Gemius, a role they began in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Lecturer at Uniwersytet Warszawski since October 2018. Mateusz also served as a Power BI & MS Excel & VBA Instructor at LabMasters starting from January 2018. From February 2019 to February 2023, they held the position of Senior Data Modeling Specialist/Data Scientist at Data Juice Lab. In terms of banking experience, Mateusz worked at PKO Bank Polski, initially as an Intern in the Credit Risk Department from July 2016 to September 2016, then as a Trainee from October 2016 to September 2017, and finally as a Junior Specialist in the Credit Risk Department from October 2017 to February 2018. Additionally, Mateusz has had involvement in various extracurricular activities such as being a member and coordinator of the infographic section at To Zależy from December 2015 to June 2016, and a member of the Economic Strategy Student Research Circle at the University of Warsaw from October 2014 to June 2016. Lastly, they acquired brief experience as a Trainee at Goldbach Audience Poland in July and August 2015.

Mateusz Heba has a strong educational background in economics, statistics, econometrics, informatics, and computer science. Mateusz is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Warsaw, specializing in Economics with a focus on Statistics and Econometrics. This program started in 2018 and is expected to be completed by 2022.

Prior to pursuing their PhD, Mateusz obtained a Magister (Mgr) degree from the University of Warsaw in 2018. During this period, they studied Informatics and Econometrics. Before that, they completed a Licencjat (Lic.) degree at the same institution in 2016, majoring in Computer Science and Econometrics.

In addition to their academic achievements, Mateusz also holds a SAS Data Mining Certificate (Analityk Danych SAS) obtained in November 2017 from SAS, which further demonstrates their proficiency in data analysis and mining.
