Ashmit Thakral

Ashmit Thakral is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and corporate finance. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director at GemLife since January 2020, Ashmit previously held the position of Investment Manager at Thakral Capital Australia Pty Ltd from February 2017 to January 2020. As the founder of WenQu Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, Ashmit launched a unique news platform for article discovery and discussion. Additional roles include Investment Analyst at Thakral Japan Properties and Operations Associate at VSeeding, as well as General Partner in a multi-million dollar fund at Grand River Capital. Ashmit began the career with earlier positions at ST Asset Management, Platinum Holdings Company Limited, and Singapore Civil Defence Force.
