David Gallant

David Gallant has extensive work experience in the technology field. David started their career as a Database Programmer at the University of New Hampshire in 1998. David then moved on to QinetiQ North America, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Team Lead from 2001 to 2004. David then joined Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer / Consultant from 2004 to 2014.

In 2014, they joined Verizon as a Solutions Architect on the Cloud/IoT, Partner Innovation/Cloud CTO Team. Here, they designed solutions for a hybrid-cloud infrastructure and developed proof-of-concepts for IoT devices.

David is currently employed at Gemline, where they have held various roles since 2016. David started as the Chief Technology Architect, responsible for the IT strategy and overall technology vision. David then served as the Acting Chief Information Officer from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer, leading the implementation of business strategy and mentoring the software development team.

David Gallant has a diverse education history. David earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001. After a gap in their education, they pursued a Master of Software Engineering (MSE) degree at Brandeis University from 2009 to 2012, specializing in Software Engineering. In 2015, David took part in a Continuing Education program at the University of Washington, focusing on Cloud/Data Analytics.

In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they obtained the MCITP: Database Administrator 2008 certification from Microsoft, as well as the MCITP: Database Administrator on SQL Server 2005 certification. David further enhanced their qualifications by earning the CompTIA Security+ certification in 2011. More recently, in 2022, David obtained two certifications from Salesforce: Salesforce Certified Integration Architect and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
