Bijan Soltani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2011, they worked in business development at Wimdu GmbH. Bijan then moved on to roles in private equity at CoBe Capital and derivatives flow trading at Commerzbank AG in 2013. In 2014, they worked in restructuring and corporate finance at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, followed by a brief stint in investment banking and M&A country coverage for Germany & Austria at Credit Suisse in 2015. Soltani then transitioned into project management at VERTS Mediterranean Grill in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the head of business intelligence at ARGO Trade Solutions, where they were responsible for company-wide reporting and implementing BI processes. In 2018, Soltani joined Enpal GmbH as the head of business intelligence, where they designed and built a state-of-the-art data infrastructure. In 2019, they became a self-employed analytics freelancer, working with various clients and establishing the basis for founding Gemma Analytics in 2020. As a co-founder of Gemma Analytics, Soltani focuses on providing analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Bijan Soltani completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2014 to 2016. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Before that, from 2010 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the same institution. In 2012, Bijan participated in an exchange program at The University of Queensland, studying Economics and Finance for one year.

Additionally, Bijan has acquired two certifications. In 2017, they obtained a Private Pilot - Airplane certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Bijan also holds a Rettungssanitäter (Emergency Medical Technician) certification from Deutsches Rotes Kreuz e.V. (German Red Cross), although the specific date of acquisition is not provided.
