Hamza Salah

Hamza Salah is a frontend web developer who has worked for both MILVUE and as a freelancer. Hamza has over three years of experience in the industry and specializes in React and Typescript.

Salah started their career as a freelancer, working on various web development projects for different clients. In September 2018, they were hired by MILVUE, a medical imaging company, as a frontend engineer. There, they worked on adding new features to the company's medical imaging viewer, such as a grid view, an automated report, and a rich toolbar. Hamza also wrote end-to-end tests for the sensitive parts of the viewer that involved user inputs that were fed to deep learning algorithms. In addition, Salah created a fully typed integration between the Graphql API and the front-end application. Hamza also created missing mutations/queries on the back-end that allowed adding the aforementioned features on the front-end. Finally, they improved the performance of the medical viewer enough to allow doctors to work with it on low-performance computers often found in hospitals.

Salah left MILVUE in April 2021 to join Gemography in an unknown role.

Hamza Salah has a Mobile Web Specialist Nanodegree from Udacity in the field of computer software engineering. Hamza also has a degree in computer science from Le Wagon.
