Jun Wang

Jun Wang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations in the scientific and research field. They have held roles of increasing responsibility and expertise over the years.

Starting in 2001, Jun Wang worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, SIBS, CAS for three years.

In 2010, Jun Wang joined the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow and later became a Staff Scientist. They worked in this role until 2019.

From 2019 to 2020, Jun Wang was a Study Director at Crown Bioscience, Inc.

In 2020, they joined Charles River Laboratories as a Senior Study Director at Explora Biolabs and later became the Associate Director of Research at the same location.

Currently, Jun Wang is employed at GemPharmatech. They started in 2022 and have held the positions of Director of Business Development and currently, Director of Scientific Engagement.

Jun Wang earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from East China University of Science and Technology in 2001. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Developmental Neurobiology from the City of Hope Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences, completing in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Jun Wang has obtained certifications in various subjects, such as leadership development, business management, statistics, and neural differentiation mechanisms.
