Roger Campbell II is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Roger is currently the Founder & CEO of GemStack, a role they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Subject Matter Expert - Software Engineering at Chegg Inc., starting in April 2022. Roger also served as a Software Engineering Mentor at Pathrise starting in October 2021. From May 2021 to October 2021, they were the Lead Instructor - Microsoft Software Development Training Program at LaunchCode, where they successfully trained and placed 40 transitioning military personnel and veterans at Microsoft. Before that, Roger worked at Code Differently as the Director of Youth Work-based Learning from August 2020 to January 2021, and also as a Software Developer & Instructor in July 2020. Roger has prior teaching experience as a Software Engineering Instructor at General Assembly from November 2019 to August 2020, and as a Teaching Assistant in September 2019 to November 2019. Roger has also worked as a Self Employed Software Engineering Consultant from January 2015 to January 2020, and as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Integration Engineer at CRISP from April 2019 to November 2019.

Roger Campbell II began their education journey in 2018 by enrolling in the Software Engineering Immersive Program at General Assembly. This program was completed in 2019. Simultaneously, they pursued a Web Design and Management Certificate at Prince George's Community College, specializing in Web Technologies. This certificate was also obtained in 2019.
