Welcome to Gen42 Games! We’re a London-based games company founded in 2002 by John Yianni, the inventor of the award-winning Hive.

Our mission is simple: to design high-quality games that bring people together and spark the same excitement and adventure we all loved as kids.

Gen42 Games began with John’s love for creating games to share with family and friends.

With its simple rules and strategic depth, Hive has grown into a worldwide phenomenon.

We’re passionate about crafting games that deliver fun, connection, and unforgettable memories.
