Mindy Chen

Mindy Chen has a diverse background in data science, machine learning, and software development. Mindy most recently worked at GenAIz as a Data Scientist, starting in July 2019. Prior to that, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at TandemLaunch Inc. from September 2018 to June 2019. Mindy also has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Concordia University, where they applied machine learning algorithms to various data sources and worked on service-oriented systems. Mindy previously worked at the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity as a Software Developer and Researcher, focusing on modeling security-related user behavior with machine learning for cybersecurity attack prevention. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Developer at Marinvent Corporation, where they contributed to the development of a web-based avionics buses certification management system.

Mindy Chen pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at Concordia University from 2010 to 2015.
