Darius Chan has worked in various engineering roles since 2008. Darius began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for Quartus Engineering and then moved on to become a R&D Engineer for CareFusion (Adecco). In 2010, they took on the role of Design Engineer/R&D Consultant for Alphatec Spine (7-12-5 Research & Development). Darius then became a Product Development Engineer for Integra LifeSciences and SeaSpine in 2012. In 2015, they took on the role of Senior Design Engineer for Next Orthosurgical and Manager, Hardware Engineering for Genalyte, Inc., where they led a team of engineers in the development of a fully automated blood testing laboratory in a box. Darius also designed and integrated electromechanical subsystems used to handle specimens and consumables with various form factors.
Darius Chan obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego in 2009, followed by an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2011.
