Chief Controls Engineer at Gencor Industries

Keith Harper has a work experience that spans over several years in the engineering field. Keith began their career at Gencor Systems Inc. in 1990 as an Applications Engineer, where they worked until 1992. In this role, they gained experience in various aspects of engineering. Keith then moved on to become a Senior Controls Engineer at the same company from 1992 to 1996. Here, they supervised software engineers and managed projects from contract to installation and commissioning. Additionally, they were responsible for creating schematics and drawings for control systems. In 1996, Keith joined Equipment Services Group, Inc. as a National Service Manager. Keith built and managed a team of technicians for global support of Asphalt HMA facility installation and service. Keith also created administrative policies and procedures, and contracted with local supplemental workforces for specific tasks. Finally, in 1997, they returned to Gencor Industries, Inc. as the Chief Controls Engineer. In this role, they managed teams of engineers and drafters on multimillion-dollar projects, specializing in creating Asphalt HMA production facilities. Keith also conducted R&D for new products and oversaw the control system life cycle from concept to end-of-life staging.

Keith Harper obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from UCF between 1987 and 1989. Keith then pursued Advanced Leadership Training I & II from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College in the year 1998-1999.
